Fernandinho plans to discuss his Brazil future with coaching staff

Manchester City star Fernandinho has confirmed that he would meet up with the coaching staff of the Brazilian national team following the weekend’s Premier League clash against Arsenal. The 33-year-old has not featured for the South American nation since the summer World Cup with manager Tite previously indicating that the midfielder has been hurt by the abuse from the supporters on social media.

In a report covered by Goal.com, Fernandinho acknowledged that he has a good relationship with the coaching staff of the national team and he is scheduled to hold discussions with assistant coach Clever Xavier and performance analyst Fernando Lazaro this weekend before deciding whether to prolong his international career.
